It is also lightweight and easy to move around during nap time or for travel.

It's made from soft materials and has breathable mesh sides to promote airflow. It comes in charcoal or oak and various melange fabrics that can be incorporated with a variety of styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when attached to her bed, with the legs securely snapping into the frame and the zips securely secured for baby-safety. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer support number if you encounter any issues.

In addition to the standard features you'd expect from a crib for your bed that include the ability to attach to your bed using a stay-in-place connection system and six height levels, the CoZee has an additional incline option that can be used to help aid congestion or reflux in infants. It can also be washed in the machine essential for all the spills, vomit, and snot that accompany a new baby!

If you're looking to keep your baby close during the first six months of their life when they're able to go to sleep on their own and independently, the CoZee is a great choice because it can be used as a standalone crib, changing table and toddler bed. Our testers were impressed by the ease of access offered by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with a single push of a button. This was a huge benefit during night time feeds because it meant they could easily reach in and pick up their baby without disturbing them.

The side panel can be removed by itself, too, but it's not recommended since it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. The patented safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only remain in place when it is connected correctly to the parent's mattress. This feature is great for peace of mind if you are breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to work with any bed that includes divan bases as well as beds with drawers thanks to the legs that can be telescopic. It also comes with tilting functions for babies with reflux and a rocking mode that can bring them back to sleep after feeding. It's also very spacious and has excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.

Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it does have quite an extensive instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers but it can still be easily moved from one place to another. It's also small enough to fit into its travel bag when not in use which is a bonus in the event that you have to transport it. The only drawback our testers noticed was that the side panel didn't move as much as some of the other models, making it a little harder to see your baby from your own bed.

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is an excellent choice for an infant crib that will grow with your child. It's a crib for co-sleeping that is securely attached to your bed and can be turned into a chic cot when your baby is old enough. Ideal for feeding at night and enhancing your bond with your baby's new.

Contrary to other cribs for bed like the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. Its dual-view mesh side panels and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximize airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline can help to reduce colic and reflux, while the zip down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby at night.

The kit for conversion to cot is also well designed, with clear instructions. It comes with everything you need. It took us an hour to construct and was fairly straightforward. The only downside was the lack of captions in writing on some of the pictures which made it difficult to understand some of the steps. However, it was an easy procedure and the quality of materials used was excellent.


The Shnuggle Air is a great option for mothers who are breastfeeding or have had an e-csection. It lets them reach out and touch their baby to comfort them and feeding without leaving their bed. It's a great option for parents who do not want to go through the stress of putting their child in a traditional cot, or even getting them out of it.

During our testing, we found the gliding motion of this next to me crib to be extremely useful in lulling babies back to sleep after midday and nighttime feeds. The drop-down side makes it easy to feed or soothe babies throughout the night. This was a big selling point for our exhausted test moms.
